Today’s menu for VERONICA’s Voice was:

Delicious Ham smoked by my father-in-law
Au Gratin Potatoes
Corn (with butter)
The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies made by my daughter

Yum. And tonight I am thrilled that there are just enough leftovers for us.

I am extremely thankful for the kitchen appliances we put to rugged use each week. Thank you, food processor, for slicing potatoes so evenly and so quickly;
thank you, gas range, for your even, dependable heat;
thank you, mixer, for making cookies so easy to produce; 
thank you loads, dishwasher (pun intended), for doing so many loads on Fridays.

And I am even more thankful for those who help each week.
Thank you, daughter, for using your sweet baking skills, and serving so graciously;
thank you, son, for carrying my heavy loads and entertaining all the gals;
thank you, father-in-law, for the best ham on the planet;
thank you, friends, for helping serve;
thank you, hunky husband, for working so hard to provide the means to serve;
and most of all, thank you, Lord. You are my ultimate Provider. Without You, I wouldn’t even have the desire to serve.
