Worship
Ephesians 5:18-21 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; (19) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; (20) Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; (21) Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Today I awoke with grumbling and complaining in my heart. This is not a good place to be. I spent extra time in God’s Word this morning and have been redirected.
I dedicate this day to worship of my Lord. Please join me in filling your heart with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. May this be a sweet smelling fragrance to our King.

It’s easy to be surrounded by worship. I can listen to the radio or put a cd on…but to have worship inside of us requires the Holy Spirit. Worship, not jsut around me but in me.
I totally agree. “Worship music” without true worship of the Spirit is really just noise.
John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. (24) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Don’t be controlled by alcohol… be controlled by the Holy Spirit. When you are you will display a heart of worship, overflowing thankfulness and the heart of a servant. Yet, I often have trouble producing this fruit.
You have learned a valuable lesson. When you wake up and know that you and not the Spirit are in control, spend a little extra time putting on the full armor of God.
