Color Day
Posted on July 7, 2007 by amanda
While I’ve enjoyed Color Week at Musings of a southern girl at heart, I’ve proclaimed today to be Color Day for my daughter and I. We’ve just enjoyed a morning of color and beauty at the City Market. The fresh vegetables, fruits, breads, eggs were vivid and engaging. I think God had a wonderful time creating all this beautiful food.
While out and about, we saw our neighbor, Michael, buying produce for the best little grocery/restaurant in our part of town, You Say Tomato. If you are ever in the Kansas City area, it is a must taste. Tell them amanda sent you.

P.S. Love the market…it’s beautiful! My garden is producing well right now. We are enjoying a bountiful harvest.
Love, love LOVE the color post!!!!! Such beautiful produce and the ladies are lovely, too. Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
I have had that ruler I put up with my zucchini since I was in grade school, too! LOL I make the kids use it with great care if they borrow it. Blessings!!!
Okay, I must share with you all. I love to cook, so I love Leann’s cooking blog. But I was laughing when I was this post. Although I was wowed by her zucchini, what caught my eye was the ruler. I have that same ruler from GRADESCHOOL. Anyone else out there with the classic 1970’s Peanuts ruler?
