Have you ever played spoons?

My dear husband put a twist on this game last time we played. We used mouse traps. I assure you they were fresh from the package.
So instead of grabbing spoons, we had to carefully grab the mousetrap trying every so hard not to set it off. It put a whole new twist on the game.
My son swears this did not hurt. How could it not?
